Howdy, welcome to Aggie Owned - Austin!
First, a brief introduction. I'm Chris Pesek, Class of 1997. I'm a Realtor in the Austin area and live with my wife Erika, Class of 2014 (Masters), between Austin and Dripping Springs.
The purpose of this site is simple...it's all about Aggies Helping Aggies! As a Former Student, I believe there are two very important roles we play in each other's lives. The first is to lend a helping hand whenever we can. It's no surprise when I see Aggies go completely out of their way to help another Aggie. The second is to give back to the school we all hold so dear and support the next generation of Ags in a way to remind them what makes our University so special.
With that said, here is my plan for this site. It's meant to be free advertising and a quick reference for referrals, within the Aggie Family, for Aggie Owned Businesses in the Austin Area. My hope is that those who advertise here will refer other Aggies here exclusively when dealing with them as clients and friends (referring others would be great too, but not always practical, I know). And, I expect a percentage of any income referred within the Aggie Network from this site to be given back to Texas A&M in some way.
Though the concept of this site has been tried before with what seems to me as varying levels of success, I hope the fact this will be a free and regional service will be the catalyst needed for providing a great resource for years to come.
If you are an Aggie Business Owner or Service Provider like myself and would like more information on advertising here, Click Here for Contact Information.
Thanks for your interest, and Gig 'Em!
